An Overview and Look at In The Rooms

InTheRooms (or ITR) serves the global addiction recovery community as the premier, FREE online social network for anyone seeking recovery help. Our mission is to supplement 12-Step and non-12-Step recovery programs by backing them with a supportive community.

One such meeting newly added to ITR is Harriet Hunter’s facilitation of her new book, Miracles of Recovery. We welcome anyone who will come: those in recovery, their family and friends, or allies of recovery worldwide. How do we welcome them? Through more than 130 online recovery meetings, which our members can attend from anywhere, whenever they need support.

We’re not trying to replace face-to-face fellowship meetings. ITR is simply a secure place where anyone can visit their recovery community, no matter who they are or where they are. Our community includes 40 different fellowship groups, and because of that, we prioritize easy access to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Our three largest fellowships are Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Al-anon.

And those three don’t even encompass all the other 12-Step fellowships which ITR serves, nor all the specialty meetings we also host. That includes Yoga Recovery, Soul Recovery, Sex-Love and Addiction, and 11th Step Meditations. We’re lucky enough to have over 589,000 members–we want to give them as many recovery resources as possible.
